Ok, so I have been bad. I missed posting Harrison's first real fish. He caught two rainbows. I missed documenting his first days at Montesori; half days, four days a week. And, I missed the fam's trip to Omaha and partial fam trip to Houston. And, I missed writing up fishing at Flaming Gorge in near blizzard-like conditions. My bad, sorry.

But, today, we went to the Lava Hot Springs. The weather was awesome: blue skies, 40's, and snow in the mountains and lot's of snow on the way! Information can be found at http://www.lavahotsprings.com/hotpools.html.

Fishing, again...

August 8: Fished with Harrison at Roberts Gravel Pond. Again, no fish, but Harrison sure has fun, especially when he's in the water. You can guess that he got a little cold, but he says he'd do it again. Victor and Beryl (and Steve and Maggie) went along for the fun. Victor is almost more of a water dog than Maggie, but Maggie is a hunter, so she knows how to behave a little better dockside.

August 4-6: Camping in Western Montana with friends at the Grasshopper Campground in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. We dug for Quartz and other minerals and swam in the hot springs.

July 25: Harrison's first fishing expedition at a designated Kid's only pond just down stream of the Gem State Hydro plant, off of the Snake River. No fish, but what a blast.
